While experimenting with vray render settings, I used a few simple techniques to make some Korean-inspired vases. The large white vase is a ‘Moon Jar’ – you can see a good real example in the British Museum, although whenever I go to see it it’s been loaned out or cleaned…

    Lovely, organic, delicate shapes! They remind me of pots and bowls by Lucy Rie and Hans Coper.

    Very authentic looking, especially the full moon jar. And great use of Korean “yeobaek” 여백 餘 白 white aesthetic.
